Our vision - a circular economy

The CAG WGL lines as an upcycling power plant are an innovative technology that generates energy from, for example, plastic waste - this can be plastic waste of all kinds, both from industry and from households - or any other organic waste.

Thermal degradation (double gasification, no pyrolysis) of organic waste at 1,300°C results in two types of output:

• 95-99% syngas from the carbonaceous material portion. This is purified to be used for the generation of electricity, heat or hydrogen (depending on the customer`s requirements).

• 1-5% carbon black / residuals - (depending on the input material), this can be recycled back into the value chain and directly reused in new materials provided the analysis results permit.
